What sort of pan do you use?
Personally, wouldn't touch non-stick pans with a (very long) barge pole.... cancer and all that.
Anyway, am a big fan of Mauviel stainless steel pans. Yes, not particularly cheap at £110 to £175 per pan but they will GENUINELY last a lifetime. Did bacon, eggs and sausage (toast and coffee) for breakfast and no sticking whatsoever.
Have you tried drying the potatoes before frying them? Also I've only found omelette's falling apart if over they're over cooked well that and the obscenity of mean people using milk to make the eggs go further.0 -
I have just bought Tefal pans........cheapest from 'The Original Factory Shop' online or in store.Cat :wave:0

I agree with Suki. It's less about the pan and more about how you take care of it. I NEVER wash my frying pan! After use, I thoroughly wipe with Kitchen roll. It helps season the pan and protects the non-stick lining. I see people put frying pans in dishwashers and cringe!
Same principle with a good Wok - never wash them, just gently wipe and it's good to go again...0 -
We have a ceramic pan and after a while eggs started sticking, but found if you add a knob of butter to the oil, eggs don't stick."We could say the government spends like drunken sailors, but that would be unfair to drunken sailors, because the sailors are spending their own money."
