I need to set targets for April.
For a start I will have a more realistic target for the bay!
To sell £200 worth of my [STRIKE]crap[/STRIKE] no longer, much treasured items.- I haven't managed £200 worth this month but I have managed nearly £150 and there are still a couple of days left!
Get rid of 100 items to charity-I managed 5 bags worth this month :j
- well over 100 items. :T
ive managed to get rid of over 300 items-some to charity, some to recycle.
To achieve target with Christmas saver card
we appear to be going in the wrong direction this month with the savercard, optomistic I can turn this around next month
Add to emergency fund
emergency fund isn't growing this month either, been busy trying to over pay on mortgage
Konmarie my clothes-again
still got clothes to sort again
Pay more off mortgage
this has proved to be successful this month, I'm hopeful I'm still in the green on the challenge when the spreadsheet thing comes out.
Cull CDs
CDs have been culled
I think that's enough to be going on with.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

I checked the MFI3-4 last night.
Delighted to see I'm in the green-just! :j
Now I've just got to keep it up for the next 3 years...bearing in mind it's a marathon, not a sprint.
Ideally I would like to have a comfortable cushion with the challenge, so that I'm in a position where I'm comfortably in the green, so the pressure is eased later on in the challenge.
Right, off to find something (that isn't nailed down) to sell! :rotfl:GE 36 *MFD may 2043

This could be my listexcept for the last item
no way that's happening unless I sell all my items on the bay - all at once :rotfl:and then some.
How do you manage to sell so much - either I have crap or price is too high
Any tips on how to list quickly? and how did you get on with your bargain hunting - love a bargain.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -

I still have loads to sell.
I set targets but don't necessarily meet them.
I'm lucky in that being self employed some months are great
Then again, some months are not so great.lol swings and roundabouts really.
Unfortunately I have no quick listing tips for the bay. I do sometimes have luck selling locally on local selling totes.
My bargain hunting goes in fits and starts too. The other night I was optimistic I would get some bargains from asd@ but I didn't do very well to be honest. There was a programme on tv that morning about Ilona-retired lorry driver from S!!!!horpe, bargain queen ( she's on mse) and she had bought nearly £80 worth of food from 4 different supermarkets for less than £20.
I only went to one supermarket but I think we missed the boat a bit.
I find to get more choice ( but you don't save so much) Sunday morning is a good time to go. The other week I got about £20 worth of meat for about a tenner. So I just put most of it in freezer until we were ready to use it. 50% off something is better than 80% off nothing.
I did get some bar b que tongs and skewers etc for less than £1 the other day from charity shop.
I also got some free cushions as someone took them to charity shop and they said they couldn't accept them so I asked if I could have them please and what did he want for them and he said 'nothing, you're saving them from the tip' . Bargain!GE 36 *MFD may 2043
