I've been reflecting over the last few days.
Compared to where I was when I started this journey, I've actually come a long way.
Now is the time when I need to try and push myself further.
Today I'm toying with the idea of writing a new plan of action, in an attempt to make better use of my time.
Procrastination is a problem for me...I do have to juggle a bit as I have several roles to fulfil, that said its all too easy to run an errand then come home and have a cuppa before going on to do something g else.... And just sit/daydream and before you know it, half the day has gone and not a lot has been achieved...
Right, off to make a start on my plan of action.

You are doing really well Tattycath, I'm guilty too of spending a lot of time daydreaming rather than actually doing!

    I'm pleased I'm not alone. :)

Was all set up to get stuck in yesterday and ended up spending half of it in bed with some kind of bug! :(
Today I'm feeling a bit better and I've been trying to sort financials and stuff to list.
I have managed to sort out a payment off the mortgage. :)
Hopeful I can get more stuff done tomorrow. :)

Daydreaming is the brain running systematic permutations of what could be - if it didn't work out what different scenarios your life could take you in, you wouldn't know the actions you need to take now to get you there. Let yourself have that - you're simply human and it's amazing.

Just make sure you do also take the steps ;)
    Baby Step 1 - £1k Emergency Fund - COMPLETE
Baby Step 2 - Pay off all debts except the Mortgage - £9,326 to go
Baby Step 3 - Save 6 months of expenses into full Emergency Fund - £4,300 to go

Baby Step 4 - Put 15% into Pension
Baby Step 6 - Pay off the Mortgage early
    Baby Step 7 - Live like no-one else :D

Was up at just gone 7 this morning. :)
    Lots to do today.
    I've already:
    taken DD2 to work
    Taken some recycling
    Got some fuel
    I've done a shop too:
I did go over budget, :o
however, I did see loads of reduced meat, fish etc so I've topped freezer up-saving me more money in the long run. :j
Just having a cuppa, I've set myself a time limit for this so I can get on and sort some stuff out to sell. :)

Mortgagefree challenge update is looming. Hoping to pop into bank tomorrow to check the figures, unless I can manage to ring them today. :)
DD2 taken to work this morning.
Washing machine is on again and I'm just about to make the most of the lovely weather and hang some washing out to dry. It feels like I'm constantly playing catchup with the washing as of late.
I have managed a couple of small mortgage overpayments this month. :)
    Operation declutter is still ongoing!
