What can lenders see on credit files?

When applying for a credit application, I'm interested to know exactly what a lender can see/can't see when searching your credit files.
From the basics I know they will see your name, address, electoral role info etc.
But for example can they see lenders names etc if you have existing credit cards/loans etc. Can they see credit limits, credit scores etc, etc.

But for example can they see lenders names etc NO, IT'S ALL ANONYMISED FOR LENDERS if you have existing credit cards/loans etc. ALL CREDIT ACCOUNTS REPORTED TO THAT CREDIT REFERENCE AGENCY Can they see credit limits, YES, CREDIT LIMITS AND DEBIT BALANCES (A SNAPSHOT OF THE BALANCE ONCE A MONTH, BUT NOT CREDIT BALANCES) credit scores NO, BUT THEY MAY USE THE DATA FROM THE CREDIT FILE TO DETERMINE THEIR OWN CREDIT SCORE etc, etc.
