Advice on pricing for small plumbing/building/carpentry jobs

Options
Hi all

Looking for some rough ideas for pricing before i get some quotes!

Plumbing- My water stopcock is totally stuck and won't turn (not sure what they do about this!), a valve on a pipe leading to my sink is leaking (think it needs replaced) and could do with new push button flush bits put in my toilet (dropped something on the button and not worked consistently since)

About 8 bricks to be cemented back on garden wall

Wooden doorstep needs replaced as its rotten

I live in Norfolk

Thanks :)

  • all in a days work for your average handy man on a day rate.... £100- £160 labour only
  • Personally I would not trust anyone but a plumber with fixing a stopcock. Consequences are too serious if it goes wrong.

the stopcock is ok now thankfully. I sprayed some WD40 on it and it is now working fine :) so just the other jobs to contend with!
