I think I'm about to take the plunge on one of these as the prices go back up on Wednesday apparently. I'm going to ring them up about the returns policy so I'll report back what I find.

What a shame that 10% off code that was floating round didn't work on these but you can get Nectar points if you go through the E-Stores online so don't forget these!!!

Saleswoman in Argos told us her daughter had bought one of these and was pleased with it, and also they are sold under the same warranty as anything else in Argos: if you don't like it, ring them within the money-back period (14 days?) and they'll come and collect it and refund your money without question. This made our mind up for us. Seems like you can't lose except if you return it you don't have a suite for a while!

I called up and cancelled the original order no problem!

They're coming on Thursday so fingers crossed!

The crazy thing is, you can order a large only for the same price! LOL (I guess not everyone has the space)

Hi Charlene - how long did delivery take for you? Did it not matter that you cancelled it and re-purchased or did they just refund you the difference?

I ordered on Monday and I move out on Friday so the sooner the better!

Hi there I manage to arrange the delivery for the original day and time, they were still available.

The lady offered to refund the difference, but then realised that I'd made an error and only added a large sofa to the basket!! So she said it'd be best to cancel and re-order.

I haven't had my credit card statement yet, but will check online after delivery.

What day did you choose for delivery?

Just a heads up to say they arrived today, and maybe I'm easily pleased (we've only opened the regular thus far) and I really like 'em! remind me of what my old ones used to look like! LOL.

Very nice sofas.

It didn't give me a choice of days Charlene - it says up to 35 days. Then it says may be delivered sooner and they will get in touch to arrange delivery.

So I guess I just wait?

Hi there, well today, we've realised on both ends of the chairs it's all torn up as the delivery guys were 'DRAGGING' it up the stairs and it appears to have caused damage! ugh!!!!!! Customer service lady was lovely, however, she said they wouldn't be able to replace for up to 35 days (like yourself), so maybe there was an influx of orders come through?

I rang them today and they said they would ring me but wouldn't give me any more information. I guess the extra discount meant that the sales have flooded in.

Now I'm on the hunt for a bean bag or two until they turn up!
