*Large and regular leather sofas £399!*

Hi all, I ordered these sofas a few days ago for £499 when I realised they'd gone down by a £100, so naturally I cancelled that order and ordered again!

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/6275293.htm

Colours include: Ivory, Chocolate, Light brown and red wine. :T

p.s they are also doing 2 x regular for £349 if you lack space.

Anyone else got Argos sofas? How hard wearing are they? I know they are cheap but i would rather pay more and have something that will stand up to my 2 and 5 year old boys.

    Thanks

My sister-in-law has a pair of black leather sofas. Seem ok quality wise, good price I say.

I got an Argos sofa delivered a couple of weeks ago. I had to send it back because it was falling apart after two days - the seams were coming apart.

Delivery and pick up were fine though. And no hassles getting a refund.

Have i got this right; buy a large sofa and get a regular sofa for free? That's two sofas for £399?

There was a similar offer in the previous catalogue and I was about to place an order although found the same design on display in one of their extra stores and it looked cheap and not very hardwearing.

we bought argos sofas in febuary last year...april this year they went to the tip
theyre ok if you are saving for something better and want a cheapo one for the time being.
ours were bout 400 quid for one large sofa, you bought that and got a smaller one free.
i could lift them with one hand cos theyre so light and flimsy:(

Well, guys, I bought this same set (Venice) about 4 weeks ago. Early days yet but it seems quite solid.

The only niggle we've had is that one seat on the smaller sofa appears to be padded slightly more than the other, and if your feet don't reach the ground when seated it can hurt the backs of your knees a bit. A footstool/pouffe would overcome it (I know you shouldn't have to buy one with a new suite, but other than that we're quite pleased with ours).

Oh yes - and we bought it before the reduction!!!
