Heathrow Parking

I need to park my car at Heathrow for 2 weeks in October.
I will be traveling down the night before and staying over so I'm trying to decide between a hotel stay and park deal or on site airport parking.
There are some good deals on stay and park where the total package is not much more than airport parking however the security of my car at these hotels concerns me, many of the reviews for these hotels show that their parking is not secure.
Does anybody have any recommendations for hotels where they've done this or maybe you've done that and had a bad experience and will now only use secure airport parking?

Friends of mine who fly frequently from Heathrow use Q Park (?) in Bath Road and stay at the Premier Inn next door. Not sure how their prices compare, but they have been using them for quite a few years now and have always been happy with them.Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0

I always use the Purple Parking Business (probably 20 times in the past few years) great service and only a 5 min bus to the airport.
Plus the Premier Inn bath road is next door, you can park your car at Purple parking the night before, walk to the hotel (2 minutes max) then in the morning just go back to purple parking and get the bus to the terminal.
There are a number of discount codes floating around for 20% off as well......0 -
That was quick, thank you both0

Topcashback / Quidco usually pay a decent commission.
I love the T5 pod parking. Not cheap, but a fun start to your trip!0 -

Choose a nice area a short train and tube ride away from Heathrow.Somewhere in the stockbroker belt.
Find a really nice, quiet area with decent cars parked on the road outside expensive houses.
Park your car, walk to station, purchase off-peak train ticket and travel to Heathrow.
Return the same way two weeks later having saved a fortune in airport parking charges.
Congratulate yourself on the drive home and re-assure yourself about the morals of what you've done - you have paid exactly the same road tax as the other people where you parked your car entitling you to park anywhere you wish.
I have been doing this for many, many years and saved thousands of pounds and never had a single problem.0 -
I needed to park my car for Heathrow a few weeks ago. The on-airport parking was £99. A night in the Heathrow Hotel with parking was £93! I wouldn't let Purple Parking anywhere near my car.0

Define secure and which terminal are you departing from?
If you're talking high perimeter fences, then I'd look at the Hilton T5 in Colnebrook and get the hotel shuttle.0 -
If you choose Sleep Park Fly at Premier Inn the car is actually not left on the hotel car park it is Valet Parked at the airport. I have used this at both Heathrow and Gatwick and as someone said the cost of the hotel stay and the cost of the stay with the parking is not that different. I use Heathrow PIs a lot and if you can get the T5 one it is a lot better than the big one on Bath Road.0

It can be cheap, it goes up & down like a fiddler's elbow. I book the best deal I can get that's cancellable & keep an eye on prices.PeacefulWaters wrote: »I love the T5 pod parking. Not cheap, but a fun start to your trip!Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0
