Carpet Right credit - dont appear to be charging me

Hi all
Some advice and apologies if this is in the wrong section.
I bought a £2500 carpet for a house in October 2014 which we were renovating and paid 10% deposit to carpet right store.
I chose buy now pay later option interest free as we were renovating the house to sell and didnt have the available funds to pay in one go.
The further issue has been that I cannot find any paperwork pertaining to this. I thought it was amongst a pile of invoices etc as I have had to keep everything we have spent as will have a capital gain.
So I have rung the finance company. They have no account in my name, my partner's name or attached to the address of the house we renovated or our home address.
They asked about the monthly payments I was making and if I had a reference number from there - I explained I haven't made a monthly payment.
I have looked on Carpet Rights webpage today and realise even on a buy now pay later deal I should have been making monthly payments.
It therefore appears no credit agreement has been set up.
What should I do - do i now just keep quiet as looks as if they haven't sorted out finance and hence I don't exist on their records? If this is just an error and I don't start making payments will this effect by credit rating? I have subsequently moved house and any mail will go there not to my new address - I hasted to add this only happened this week and i haven't received any post from Carpet Right over the last year.
Advise appreciated - and I can't help being a bit excited to having saved over £2000 on a carpet they've forgotten to bill me for!

Without any moral advice, one thing to do is check your credit report. If you should have been paying a small amount monthly and haven't been doing so, the account may have been sold on to debt collectors and that is why the finance company have no record.0
