Which NEFF oven should I go for, Pyrolytic or non-Pyrolytic, please?

I'd imagine you could use the telescopic rails with the Pyrolytic ovens though, since you would have to take out the normal shelving rails anyway
Thanks again.
This is the website I visited before, was I looking at the wrong thing here?

I have been reading this thread with interest as I shall soon be in the market for a new oven.
As the metal shelves have to be removed before the self cleaning(Pyrolytic) is turned on, this means that the shelves still have to be cleaned manually. So I still have to buy Oven Pride to clean the shelves?
My oven shelves gets dirtier than my oven cavity:cool:
Is it worth paying extra for Pyrolytic?0 -

What are you doing to get the shelves so dirty?
I normally put them through the dishwasher then scrub off anything left with a scouring pad - I don't need Oven Pride for the shelves.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -
As someone who has a non pyrolytic Neff oven, I would definitely recommend paying the extra. I certainly plan to if this oven ever needs replacing.
The 'Aqua Cleanse' function on mine does very little.0 -
Just a quick update about these ovens. I finally went ahead to order one with Homebase this morning, apparently they have two NEFF ovens on special – one is a Pyrolytic model and the other one is not.
Both of them are now reduced from the Homebase catalogue price, plus there is a 15% off this bank holiday week, plus 1,000 Nectar points if you collect the points like me.
So here are the costs for the two ovens.
NEFF B57CR22N0B Pyrolytic oven (2015 model in Premium Collection 3 range)
Was £859.00, now £730.15, with a 15% off this weekend –> £620.63
NEFF B47CR32N0B NON Pyrolytic oven (2015 model in Premium Collection 3 range)
Was £729.00, now £619.65, with a 15% off this weekend –> £526.70
In the end, I have ordered a Pyrolytic oven, and the delivery time is in 2 months due to a manufacturing issue (applies to any shops).
John Lewis sells these two ovens at £829.00 and £779.00.
I think the Homebase ones are a pretty good deal – a total saving of £208-£252 (compare to JL's price). I hope this helps! :rotfl:0 -
BartyBoy, is this oven you ordered hardwired as in the description it's not clear, all is says is "Wattage/Voltage: 3450W" which suggests hardwired but the oven I've got now is plugged into a socket so won't be any good as it's too high powered?0

I must say I don't know. It doesn't even say on the John Lewis website…

Here I have found a manual on the internet.

Did they have this in stock fir quick delivery?
Apparently no store has these ovens in stock for quick delivery. I received a phone call from Homebase the other day saying the delivery of my oven would be 1 week later than the initial scheduled delivery date - end of October.
And now I see Homebase has put the prices back to full price...0 -
Cheers, I think there's a few places on line with stock so will look into these a bit more, just ordering a new kitchen which will hopefully be fitted end of October so want to make sure oven is here for then0
