FITs and E7 switching

I am with SSE, have solar panels and storage heaters. I have been quite happy with my online account, an economy 7 tariff, and registered my solar with them for FITs refunds. Now they are "updating" their IT system, so will be sending me paper statements, and can no longer pay my payments directly into my energy account. My main worry is that this means my winter bills will not be automatically be cancelled out by my FITs, so they will decide to up my direct debit instead. This is very unsatisfactory.
Does anyone know if any other supplier can offer what I need - FITs paying into supply account, with economy 7 tariff? I would prefer a greener company .
How do I switch both? Most web sites don't mention switching FITs, or how they pay it.
Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks:mad:

Your supply and generation (FIT payments) are too separate contracts. I confess that I am somewhat surprised therefore that any energy company is 'transferring' your generation payments to the supply side of their business. Does your written contract with your supplier permit this? The reason why FIT contracts are never mentioned on switching sites is because there is no point in switching a generation contract as the payments are set by Government. I am currently supplied by Ovo and my FIT payments are paid by EDF.
Although it might be a little more of a pain, why can't you just wait until the FIT payment is paid into your Bank and then transfer the payment, via Bank transfer, to your supply account? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I receive my FITS from EDF. Even when I was a customer of theirs, the 2 accounts were completely separate, and the would not credit one account against the other: I don't know of any supplier that can do this.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Seems a very odd set up you currently have with SSE.
Are you saying you can use as much energy as you like and it all gets cancelled out by your FIT payments? What if it's a mild winter and you don't use much energy that year?
As others say, usual set up is that FIT and consumption accounts are run completely separately.0 -
:beer:Thanks folks,
I guess I was just lucky before, that SSE paid my FiTs into my supply account, and am unlikely to find anyone offering this facility
Shame - have already had a £30 hike in monthly direct debit, so will look into a means of bank transfer once I receive the first payment under the new improved system.
You have taken some of the heat out of my grievance, but I am still surprised that none of them can pay this way - you only need an account number, after all.
No Skools-out, I wasn't very clear, sorry. What I meant was that the summer sunshine money sat in my electricity account ready for the winter demands, so my monthly direct debit could be kept low, on an annual basis, after speaking to a human being in accounts. (Had to wait for her to phone me, as not easy getting correct department on phone.)
thanks again folks.0
