tiling a bath panel ????

Hi everyone, new person here, so be gentle !!

Looking for a bit of advise - would you tile the bath panel the same colour of tiles as the wall or floor ???

Done both and I'd say floor. Gives a greater impression of space as it's seamless.

Just remember that the panel will be very heavy should you need to remove it to gain access to the plumbing beneath the bath.

My sis-in-law had this done and the guy who did it made a little hatch door, which he also tiled over so that the plumbing could still be reached. Looked really good.
