BMSavings safety?

I`m considering putting some money in a BMSavings account but when I checked if they were linked to other institutions I found they are linked to Aviva. I have a pension fund with Aviva so does this affect how much I could safely invest with BMSavings?
thanks

I am pretty sure that only current and savings accounts are covered by the FSCS. Pension funds aren't as they are investments.

If so, you can safely save (not invest) up to £85K (going down to £75K in 2016).
That said, Aviava isn't the only company BMS is linked to: Are Your Savings Safe?
