Decent headphones for ipod

Has anyone got any suggestions for a decent pair of headphones for ipod video? I want something with good bass.
I got these headphones from argos today for my IPOD but not very impressed because they are too big and there isn't much 'bass', so I'll be returning them.

Thanks for help.

Don't they look a bit silly with the ipod?!
I would recommend these:

I don't know about the bass, but I have these and they are great. I travel alot and wanted something that wouldn't affect anyone else on the train and would also cut out the rail noise. The ipod ones don't fit in my ears either, but these are fine for me (they come with different sized buds, so you can choose the best fit)

Thanks to everyone for the responses.. actually I want to buy headphones as opposed to earphones. I do think that sennheiser is probably the best option, I tried them on in apple shop the other day and was really impressed, and so far I've shortlisted these two:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-PX200-Closed-Mini-Headphone/dp/B000089GN4
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-PX100White-Open-Headphone-White/dp/B000AM8WQM/ref=sr_1_1/202-4421123-0786217?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1187727967&sr=1-1 - px 100 is cheapish in price but seems to have good reviews.
Going to go to apple shop tomorrow again to give them a good look over!0 -
Actually Chris you're wrong there.
There are earphones and then there are earphones.
The supplied Apple earphones are high quality and rich in bass.
When you buy cheaper ones (like on Ebay from HK), as I did, you find there is no bass and no richness to the sound.
Believe me, don't buy cheap earphones.0 -

I totally agree with Celyn90 here, these are excellent phones. I use the for my iPod Video, great quality sound and good bass for your music. they are also available at Currys for between £20-£30.0 -

I'm going to have to disagree with you there. I know of few supplied earphones of any quality - some of the newer Sony MP3 players come with headphones aren't that bad - but as a rule, what is in-the-box is cheap, mass produced for cost efficiency and incapable of delivering audio to any where near the fullest.
In particular, the ones Apple supply in the box aren't high quality or capable of rich bass reproduction. In fact, they barely fit your ears properly, hence the need to turn them up overly loud which leads to lots of sound leakage that people detest on public transport.
I would stay clear of Apple headphones of any kind - there are much better options out there. Sennheiser CX300s (as others will have mentioned in this thread) are the best bang-for-buck earphones widely available at an affordable price. Decent isolation, comfortable, offering a warm sound signature typical of their products."Who throws a shoe, honestly?"
