I have just checked my equifax and can see now that I am on the electoral roll with them from august this year, experian doesn't show this yet though or call credit, maybe as my files haven't been updated with them yet, what information does the eligibility checker on this site use, does it check just experian or all three agencies.

The MSE calculator goes through a company called HD Decisions which i am sure checks the Experian and Equifax credit ratings agency as I have seen those checks on my credit report. Experian is quite slow to update electoral roll data. It took them about 3-4 months to get up to date with my electoral roll since it was updated. What I did was to request a statutory credit report and the queried the accuracy of the electoral roll information with the customer service and they will chase it up. Still it took months.

Yeah I've noticed its on my equifax now but still not on my call credit or experian, I've already spoke to experian so they better get a move on and get the information on my report, I am shocked at how low the eligibility checker gives me though even for the bad credit credit cards, maybe this is something to do with the electoral roll status.

    Update:

My call credit files are now updated with my electoral roll information, the only one left to go is experian, the thing is on the eligibility checker I am still getting very poor percentages for even the easiest cards to get on there, why is this, I would of thought my chances would raise once the electoral roll was sorted, or maybe it's cause experian is still missing electoral roll information?.

I was told by the checker, that I had 0% chance of a Post Office card and I was accepted with my usual around £4k limit, that I normally get offered, when accepted for cards.

IIRC I wasn't the only one with 0% chance who got one.

This is what I find strange there is nothing bad on my files except just experian not showing electoral roll information yet the eligibility checker says I can't even get a bad credit, credit card, maybe I just don't have enough credit history yet, would of thought my percentage chance of getting cards like aqua, vanquiss would be high though but already been turned down for these cards.
