Barclays Premier Banking

Hi,
A quick question that has been playing on my mind.
A few months ago I got a letter from Barclay's Premier Bank stating they would be reviewing all customer account to see if they still qualified for the Premier banking facility but would write to all customer and inform them in due course.
A few weeks later I got a letter saying after reviewing customer accounts, I would remain as a premier customer due to meeting qualifying criteria’s.
What do they mean, as in, what is premier account?? They upgraded me to that account some years ago.
Thank you all.

Seriously:cool: They upgraded you some years ago but you don't know anything about the account?
Have you looked here?

I'm surprised you've taken so little interest in your account, in view of your comment on 25th August regarding your car loan:
'I always get nervous as Im very in control of my finances and like to be "well-prepared".'

Hi.
They upgraded me after saying it suited my needs better, however as is support my needs and its a current account with all facilities to it, I didnt need to know more.
Regards to the letter they sent as everything was ok, I didnt have to do anything, just wondering what they meant by qualifying.
Anything to do with my finance such as mortgage or loans I like to be well prepared and in control, however things like this, other things where I dont have to react or prepare Im not to pushed.
But in this cause more curious what the bank meant?!0 -
just wondering what they meant by qualifying.
I assume Barclays offers it to most personal customers who appear to have a salary paid into their Barclays current account and so clearly haven't bothered to switch to a better-value (i.e. one paying interest and/or cashback) current account offered by a competitor in the hope that it will stop them switching in future.0
