You will have to disqualify yourself from betting as you are a player in the game. You may be tempted to back yourself to lose and end up winning the bet rather than the competition.LOL @ J_B. The only card game i can play is snap!!
The key is you bet on all outcomes of the game in a way that you cannot lose.
This betting lark is just a means of exploiting 'hot money'
that flows around the economy. Much of it is staked on an emotional basis. A mathematical approach to dealing with this money should yield profits were all financial transactions trustworthy.
