Thanks. Does that mean we can have 3 between me and my wife? One each and a joint.Archi_Bald wrote: »Everyone can have one sole plus one joint 123/Club Lloyds
There are no 'bonuses' for switching into either of those accounts are there?
I just saw the Nationwide Flexplus account - those £10/m benefits seem far better value than the Platinum TSB account ones (@£17/m) that I currently have.0 -

check Quidco/TCB, there might be a cashback offer for switches. But you can only switch sole to sole and joint to joint. There are no 'bonuses' for switching into either of those accounts are there?
If you are considering Nationwide, check out their Recommend A Friend offer. Should be almost 'mandatory' to put those old TSB accounts to some good use:cool:0 -
The Flexplus is certainly good value for those that can use the benefits. For us the breakdown (UK & Europe) along with travel insurance more than covered the fee.I just saw the Nationwide Flexplus account - those £10/m benefits seem far better value than the Platinum TSB account ones (@£17/m) that I currently have.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
Agreed. For me, it is the family travel cover that swings it - the TSB account only covers the family at the Platinum level. The Flexplus is certainly good value for those that can use the benefits. For us the breakdown (UK & Europe) along with travel insurance more than covered the fee.0 -

A big one for me was the mobile phone insurance. Far lower excess than using the house contents insurance policy.

KRBS now offer 1.65% AER (variable) instant access .
They are quite old-fashioned about everything, though:- debit card deposits take 3 working days to clear
- FP deposits take at least 1 working day to clear
- withdrawals are processed by BACS, so take 3 working days at least
- internal transfers only get processed on working days
