Don't forget about import duty, VAT and repacking fees for getting a PSP from the far east. It could bump up the cost considerably!

I did buy mine of an ebay seller but I contacted him to buy out of ebay as he lived about 5 minutes away so I just took my money round and picked it up, I bought quite a few of the guy at the time as they were guaranteed firmware version 1.5.

The guy was importing them himself paying all fees etc and at the time the PSP wasnt as widely available as it is now. he was only dioing it as a side thing to his ipod imports
  • Theres not really any difference between them other than the new one is a slight bit slimmer. It isn't a new PSP as in a brand new hand held just the old one been reduced in size like sony did with the PS2.
Don't listen to the bad things about Vista its the best

Just because it's free don't mean it's good

    Ditch Norton Now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :wall:

Just Because you read it some where don't mean it's right ;)

Gremlin666 your not quite right in what your saying, there are a few differences.
It has twice as much main memory as the original 64mb opposed to the 32mb in the original.
It will now charge from the USB port, in the past you had to connect to the power input to charge.
It consumes less power, the old PSP would last 3-6 hours as does the new one but the new one uses a 1200mhA battery the old PSP uses an 1800mhA battery
The new PSP also has a tv output in it so you can play on your TV.
