    Just a quick update.
I bought a box of 48 Almat non-bio washing tablets from Aldi for £2.79 on Monday and so far I'm impressed. I've only been using 1 tablet for each load and it washes well, so that will be 48 washes for £2.79 instead of 30 washes using the persil non-bio liquid which costs about £3.30ish.

Asda sell their own tablets for £2.50 for 48.
I use one tablet in each wash and I am really impressed with it!

I use Aldi's washing powder.. at the moment i've got the colour one but i vary between them. Most washes i use one or even half a tablet, and i don't have any of the problems with the soap sticking in the way that some people have described, in the tray - i think only using the one tablet helps with that. The other thing that helps is that i use - instead of fabric conditioner - a vinegar/bicarb/essential oil mix, and i think that helps to reduce the soap problems. I'd recommend them, anyway.

the only thing i use 2 tablets with these days are towels and bedsheets, and even then that's really when they're very dirty.
