I'm guessing that you didn't sell it to your other half that way, I know I'd struggle to consider shopping in any way romantic (or a break)
.
Well now that depends what you are shopping for

Hi all,
After being concerned about posting this item on to Fossil, I emailed House of Fraser again with my concerns and was emailed back by the store manager.
After explaining the issue he called me to resolve this, I was given options that would allow me to take the watch in to store and exchange it.
I really cant fault the manager for organizing this for me and I am now happy that I have exchanged.
I still feel that Watchstation concession leave a lot to be desired and are really not doing House of Fraser any favors whith their lackluster approach to customers.
I am more than happy with the professional manner in which the store manager dealt with this issue.Running total for swagbucks - £270 since Jan

I am pleased you got it sorted.
i think the main store should take responsibility. In my opinion you are their customer not that of the concession. Undoubtedly the concession store is paying HOF a hefty fee for being within the department store.
I have found it strange when returning consession store items to Debenhams, they have to speak to someone within the consession store to agree the refund. Yet the T&C on the receipt are those of Debenhams.0
