Hoover cyclonic stick bagless cleaner has lost suction

I have a Hoover stick cleaner - the bagless type where you can lift the front off to make a hand hoover or use it whole. It is a cyclonic model. I have had it for about 8 months. At first it worked a treat but recently it has lost a lot of suction and no amount of cleaning it out seems to make any difference. Anyone got one and any suggestions?

Pipe clogged with fluff? Our housekeeper carries on with ours until it only makes a noise, no vacuum whatsoever. It is always a solidified blob of fluff0

It is a Hoover Cyclean Vortex CA192PB2001. Yes have cleaned the pipe and filter (only seems to have one) and empty it regularly. Noticed it does not seem to be spinning the contents of the plastic case (as it did at first after all it is called a Vortex) which it did when new.0
