alternatives to gumtree?

Options
I have a few small items to sell, and want to avoid listing fees / postage if at all possible.

Not had any response to recent ads, so wondered if there are other sites I should try?

And, do I publish item links on social media, to get more interest?

  • You could try putting cards up in a local store at a small cost, Or the other sites like Craigslist but not sure if you pay for it, Failing this if you have no interest so far could be that you are asking for too much for the items.

There's also Friday Ad but I'm not getting any sales at all now through these online free sites. I am getting occasional sales via Facebook, but very few and most of those never get collected anyway.

As somebody said above, a card in a shop window can work - I sell stuff this way quite regularly. Plus in my area you can put ads in the local paper for free....
I know these methods sound old fashioned in this age of the internet, but they do still work!
