That looks lovely, and will be even better with cellophane and ribbon. Don't forget if you've got wide florists ribbon you'll be able to shred it into thinner strips and curl it using the back of a knife for lots of 'ringlets'
Well done!0 -
thanks all for your great reponses... i have no idea if she will like it or not but pink is her fave flower colour :j i shall update this with her reaction

it was very very hard to cover it as usually i would have rolled it however i didnt want the flowers squased  the gold ribbon came free with the cellophane and the pink ribbon is priced above
I have looked at flower delivery website and no one does champagne wrapped in flowers... wish they did :rolleyes:0 -
Hi Paps
That's the nicest and most thoughtful gift I've ever seen and I'd be well chuffed if someone gave it to me, I would love it and would think that it was quite classy. Thanx for the idea, hope you don't mind if I use it some time.
Cheers

ctfg ~ i would be glad if someone took insperation from that... its a very simple idea really... even if it wasnt champagne and just an bottle of wine. It could be made better using fresh flowers or silk flowers but then i think for the person i am giving this to this is surfice. use it/any of my ideas/creations whenever no need to ask0

Hi PAP
It looks amazing, as some other posters already said really classy. I think I might try something similar for friends who love wine.
I agree that using fresh flowers might look even more stunning, but they don't last nearly as long and can be sometimes more expensive than fake ones.
I'll pick up some wine from Spain on my next trip there (<
cheaper and I can buy a brand that you cannot buy in every supermarket, so hopefully that will make it a bit more special)
Thanks for the inspiration.Life without string would be chaos.0 -
super pap (love the new name ) that's amazing you are so talented girl0
