Hi,
In received a letter from these demanding £392 for an unpaid parking ticket from last year. The thing is, this is the first I have heard of it as when I moved house I forgot to update my car registration to my new address. I assume the intital ticket was for £35 but there wasnt ever one issued to my car (as far as I am aware, I definitely didnt take one off the car at any point)
Do I have any chance of just paying the initial charge (assuming it is a genuine one)?
I would really appreciate some advice please as I am stuck

Is this in relation to a PENALTY charge (Council ticket) or a PARKING charge (speculative invoice)?0

Hi Bod,
It is a council one....I am and always have paid them if I have ever got one, but this is the first I have heard of it.
It was issued by West Lancs Council who run all payments through a company called Chipside. SHould I ring the council for proof of ticket?
