  • Swede is lovely, I used to hate vegetables as a kid but now I don't have them put on my plate and told I have to eat them I enjoy more.

    Stick it in with some mash and don't tell anyone.

    GinghamRibbon made this from the River Nene website on her summer (?I think) meal planner. I tried it and everyone in our house ate it.....:D maybe worth a try or make it and freeze it in single portions for yourself.

    Ooh, I love swede just mashed with butter and pepper, so delicious. Never tried it roasted though so will have to give that a go.Thanks PP for that suggestion.

    I have boiled one up to mash to go with my sunday dinner later. Dh assures me he will pick it out of anything if I try and hide it
