OH doesnt listen to me. Never has, never will. Despite my warnings he still bought himself a pair of Ray Ban Aviators from ebay earlier this week for almost £35 in P+P. Seller assures they are an authorised rayban dealer, they are genuine etc etc
Yes, they are fake, albeit good ones.
Bearing in mind I could have got him fake ones for £20 I requested a £10 refund, which to her credit the seller sent almost immediately.
She has left me feedback already, OH says I should leave something in my feedback about them not being genuine but I dont know.
Thoughts?
(and yes, I changed my password so he cant bid on anything again haha)

Think of it this way - the seller sells good fakes, and is convincing about their genuine origins.
It's in your power to perhaps stop someone making the same mistake
A bootlegger who gives partial refunds is still a scumbag
My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

True, but I guess Im also of the opinion that you dont get genuine RayBans from ebay. I thought OH was daft when he did it!!
A positive stating good copies but sadly counterfeit?
A Neut stating Not genuine but quick to refund
or a neg?0 -
as he was quick to refund partially i would go for the neut option0

Give them a positive, as they've given you exactly what you asked for.The money, Dave...0 -
Brave seller - passing off counterfeits AND leaving feedback first!
Personally speaking, I would be happy with what I paid and got, but given the fact they were sold as genine, and I did have to make contact to resolve and issue, I would be leaving a fairly commented neutral and minimum stars.Something along the lines off - "Not genuine Ray-Bans, but seller resolved amicably"
They are far from being "as described" and other buyers should be made aware that they are not all that they seem, and they may not be as confident in asking for a refund or resolution.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

no.... seller provided counterfeit Rayban goods, not what the buyer asked for/wanted0 -
Thanks Steve, sounds like a fair comment that.
Id have been happy to pay £20 for a good copy, but not £35. OH is happy now anyway and hopefully has learned the "sunglasses from ebay" lesson!!0 -
Dave, I quote from the auction:100% Satisfaction or Money Back Guarantee !!
Retail price is over £75.00 - buy brand new genuine Ray-Bans here, (Note: these are the original Bausch & Lomb NOS - not Luxottica, they wont be available for much longer) complete with full international Warranty Card and save £££££££££. Buying from abroad can take weeks to arrive, tracking can be a problem, you may be liable to import charges and returns will be very costly if you receieve a faulty item. See my feedback - I do not sell counterfeit goods
So as you see, I didnt get what I asked for did I?0 -

Hardly .My TV is broken!

I would be inclined to Neg him. The guys selling counterfeit goods as genuine, and knows hes doing it thus your partail refund.
total con!
People who have left a postive obviously cant spot a fake or are too worried about receiving a neg feedback.0
