Pre-2005 Sentinel Key Fobs are only evidence I have

I remember having Sentinel Card Protection via RBS (on Debit Cards, Credit Cards, + cover for loss of passport, driving licence and house keys) for several years prior to 2005. Unfortunately I can also remember shredding Sentinel paperwork, and lots of old bank-statements, a few years ago.
What I do have in my possession are two 'Sentinel' metal key fobs which used to be attached to my house keys. One is for Sentinel cover, one is for Sentinel Gold Cover. Each has a Reference Number inscribed on it. Question: if I write to RBS with photocopied images of the key fobs showing the Reference Numbers, are they in any way obliged to give details of the Sentinel insurance 'policies' to which the key fobs applied? Anyone else in this situation? :o

Yes, I also still have the key fobs but probably destroyed the paper trail some time ago.

In my case I bought CardWise from RBS (I think) around 1988, and stayed with them after they merged with Sentinel in the mid-1990s. They moved CardWise customers onto Sentinel Gold, which I kept till a few years ago.

I'm not sure how to proceed either. Anyone else looked into this?
