I should have believed the Window 10 nag icon that Windows 10 was not suitable because of the graphics being old.
That's really weird, both !!!!!!'s and mine are older models than yours and yet we have no display issues.
I got all green ticks and good to go when I checked compatibilityNow free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
Have you checked that you're running the latest available BIOS version? I've seen cases where a BIOS update can help with similar issues.0

I am having the same kind of issue with a Toshiba C50D-B-120 laptop.
It came with Windows 8.1, and everything works.
After the Windows 10 Upgrade, the mouse pad stops working.
I plugged in a USB mouse, so I can still use it.
Further investigation shows that the mouse pad driver was disabled.
and that F5 key can Disable/Enable it, but only the cursor arrow works, and the two buttons do not!
The Toshiba website has some automated troubleshooting procedures, which asks me to check whether the mouse pad works BEFORE logging in, and it DOES! The solution is supposed to be to UNINSTALL the driver, and then install a good one: but there IS NO newer driver! Anyway, uninstall and re-install just gets the same driver back.
Argos is still selling the damned thing with "Free Windows 10 Upgrade" up front.
I expect Toshiba will come along with a fixed driver eventually.
In the mean time, I can carry on with the USB mouse, or revert back to Windows 8.1 . Ominously, under Settings>Update and Security>Recovery>Go Back to Windows 8.1 , it says
"This option is only available for a month after you've upgraded to Windows 10"
Obviously I could restore to factory state using the Recovery Image on the hard disk, but presumably the Upgrade kept a backup of the pre-Upgrade system, and it will delete it after a month.0 -

It least that part worked, I used it to return to Windows 7.over 73 but not over the hill.0 -
I'm not the only one. There are millions out there.

Unfortunately the GMA 3600 is based on Imagination Technology's
PowerVR SGX 545 and is not Intel's own internal graphics architecture. It requires imagination technology to write a driver and not Intel. It may or may not happen according to this thread:
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/insider_wintp-insider_devices/intel-gma-3600-driver-for-windows-10-technical/49941aa2-a15d-4e94-8efa-f0db07b457ba?page=15Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0
