in Credit cards
Hi, I am looking for some advice on the best way of going about clearing £2,000 off in credit cards debts with only a £200 a week income in around 12 months? Any ideas anyone?

Well, first of all, what's the APR of your current credit card(s).
You can then move your cash to a lower APR using a Balance Transfer."Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for."

Well I have around £400 on an Egg card and around £1,600 on a Virgin Credit Card. I applied for a marks and spencer card earlier as they do not charge for the balance transfer but I think the APR would be higher??? But I think you get 5.9%P.A. on balance transfers for the life of the balance which will be good as long as they give me a high enough credit limit. What I am wondering as well is there any way I can make money off my income in order to increase my monthly incomings whether it investing or whatever I know it probably won't ne easy as there would be some risk involved in making more money than I already earn whether it be investing or whatever. I tried that Zopa thing a few months back but then left it as it was to complicated to use, lol.0

I am actually wondering whether its a stupid idea transferring to this card or not as the balance would go down to 5.9 but the overall APR on the card is higher than both the virgin and egg but surely this would not matter as I purely want it for the balance transfer to the interest rate would permanently remain at 5.9%????0
