Electronic Drum Kit Options

Hi All, my son has an electronic drum set which was rigged up to my Rotel amp and speakers via aux ports but now I've taken the amp away to my new room the drum kit can only be used with headphones. His tutor has advised try playing YouTube videos of his fav music and make up his own drumming to it.
So, I need a method of doing this, perhaps using a computer to play the YT vids but what options does i have for an amp rigged to the drum kit as well as a computer and speakers?
I wad thinking getting a dedicated amp for the drum kit and the computer having speakers. Or is there a neater better way to do this whereby using a single amp speakers with both the drum kit and computer.
