Roughly speaking, what would it cost to put a DPC in a two bedroom downstairs flat built in around 1900?

Why do you want to put a DPC in a building that has been standing for more than a century without it? Or is it replacing? Are you having problems?
A bit of background information may help. :-)0 -
Do you want it done right or shoddily because I'll guarantee if you got a dozen quotes the value would be so far apart from the cheapest to the dearest it'll shock you.
It's all in the DETAIL.... get a full breakdown of any work required and what they will be doing and what they may expect you to do...0 -

Its a very interesting question though. Why do you ask that? Do you think it may be unnecessary?0 -
I am about to purchase the property and the surveyor for the mortgage company came and there was damp.

What is the cause of the damp though? Damaged gutters? Raised ground level above existing DPC? Water running downhill towards the house? Condensation?
Rising damp is extremely rare, regardless of what these chemical DPC companies want us to believe.
My house was built in 1894 and has a slate DPC.0
