Barclays bank accounts/post office banking

I have a current account with Barclays. I paid in two cash amounts via the post office. When they did not show up I visited Barclays who put a trace on the first amount. This was then credited as was, subsequently, the second amount. However, the first amount was then credited AGAIN. I contacted Barclays who told me they cannot refund the payment to the post office and I needed to contact the Local Postmaster. I have no idea where or who they are and I need to repay the money which is not mine.
I dont know who to contact: the Post Office or Post office banking?
Barclays have compensated me with £45.00 but that doesnt help when I have money in my account which is not mine!
Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance.

You need to speak to the post office where you paid the money in originally.
