We've used Green Flag for six years now. Every single year I cancel and get Quidco cashback again.
Their renewal price always matches the new customer price, but by cancelling and taking out a fresh policy I get the Quidco £££.
In my experience, Green Flag are cheaper than AA/RAC for cars less than ten years old. AA/RAC have flat prices for any car. Green Flag are insurance based, quoting based on what car it is. Gets more expensive as the car gets older. Around ten years old seems to be the tipping point.
Upset to read that Recovery Plus now starts at £60 though. We have Recovery Plus and for the last few years it's been well under £60 (before cashback).
