Hi BenBenandMe,
I'm new to MSE and have created my own debt free diary and have been reading others for guidance, I've really enjoyed reading yours, though your energy and ability to get so much done leaves me feeling exhausted here on the sofa! Like you I am into running and football, although Bristol City are my team I have a soft spot for Bournemouth based on how well they are doing and that Brett Pitman, an ex Bristol City player, used to play for them. I was very pleased about the Bournemouth Chelsea result yesterday, less pleased about the BCFC one!
I have enjoyed reading about someone so capable with their money as I need all the inspiration I can get! I hope to read more from you in the future. Enjoy your fire!Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

Thankyou Florence, it's nice to see people are reading my waffle
Brett Pitman is a legend, shame we let him go but he's doing well now for Ipswich
This week is rapidly disappearing too, already midweek and still tonnes to be done before the end of term
Yeterday postie delivered Christmas to me - I ordered a small bottle of fragrance oil called Winter from the White Company, (£6 a bottle but I found a code and got it for £4.80 plus free delivery). Oh my goodness, it is pure Christmas in a bottle, it's cinnamon and cloves and oranges all wrapped up in one. I sprinkled some on the heater and as it warmed up the smell is divine
Highly recommended
Tonight I popped in to see Mum after work, we've come back and had dinner, and I've just had my bath and can now chill on the sofa, in front of the fire of course, for the rest of the evening

Morning all, walked the dog this morning and have stuck a big hunk of beef in the slow cooker for dinner tonight. Tesco food shopping is coming between 1-2, ds is going to his friends for the afternoon, Mr S is coming round later to watch the footie and for dinner, other than that I will be plodding through the list again.

Ds homework x 4 - 2 DONE SO FAR ....Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

It's been quite a productive yet chilled day so far, I have taken all the rubbish out and done a trip to the tip to clear bits and pieces that were starting to pile up in the garage. I dropped ds at his friends and then have wrapped all the presents including ds stocking, so now I need to check my spreadsheet to see what else I need to get and then wrap them as and when I get them. The wrapping is the bit I hate most but it wasn't too bad this year, I have mainly gone for gift bags and they look so much tidier under the tree
I will try and add a picture of my festiveness, finally feeling the spirit this year, just a few more days to get through at work first
I've also done ds bedroom so am going to go and have a nice relaxing bath now while ds is still out.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Holidays are here :j :j Yesterday was a lovely day, we finished school at 12:20 and then 80 of us went for our xmas meal followed by hitting the pub at 4.30
I was home by 9:30 as it felt like the middle of the night by that point, but I am pleased to say I have woken up with a clear head
Today I'm planning on doing as little as possible all day
I will veg on the sofa and watch the Soccer Saturday on Sky, I may write some xmas cards that still haven't been written
and I might ponder some last minutes present bits and pieces (if I can get them delivered in time), I may also start thinking about some lists for xmas and beyond. Other than that its a chilling day, I need it now its he end of term
The only other thing I need to do is go and collect ds and the dog from my Mums in an hour or two.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
