Will wallpaper paste stick to Self Stick/Self Adhesive Vinyl Wallpaper?

Hello all,
I was going to put up some normal wallpaper using wallpaper paste onto top Self Stick/Self Adhesive Vinyl Wallpaper which I already have on my walls. However, I am worried it might not stick? What are peoples thoughts?
