I have a few pensions plans that have varying degrees of risk.

Like everyone else I have read hype from the press recently: http://www.infowars.com/this-2-day-stock-market-crash-was-larger-than-any-1-day-stock-market-crash-in-u-s-history/

Is is possible to hold your pension as cash? I am not "panicking" here. I have just never thought about this before. If I wanted to move my money to a "safer" haven then I guess bonds and gilts are the solution?

Again, I am not planning to do this at the moment. I am just trying to understand my options.

Not sure I would pay too much attention to that site:

"It is also interesting to note that this 888 point crash comes in the 8th month of our calendar. Perhaps that is just a coincidence, and perhaps it is not. It just struck me as being noteworthy."

Another very interesting thing to note is that the largest stock market crash in U.S. history took place on the very last day of the Shemitah year of 2008, and now we are less than a month away from the end of this current Shemitah year."

    O-kayyy.....

I see that it is the site of well-known US conspiracy theorist and all-round loon Alex Jones. I definitely wouldn't be taking any kind of advice from him.

If you have a diversified range of investments - don't panic :)

Yes. Although that has its own risks. Its also probably too late now as we are statistically likely to be closer to the bottom given the scale of drop that has already occurred.
I have just never thought about this before.

What did you do in the last correction/crash? and the one before and the one before and the one before.....

    How are you currently invested?

    .

I would seriously, SERIOUSLY, try to find a better source of news that Alex Jones and Infowars. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy than that place, though Cluesforum comes pretty close.
