Think there is one in Swinton, just out of the City Centre, called Chop Sticks, haven't been there myself but my daughter and sister have and both say it is really nice.

    Hope you find somewhere soon.

    Best wishes

    Thank you Cambridge :D
  • Top Wok in Stockport is cheap and its OK. However my favourite Chinese outside Chinatown is the Tai Pan on the corner of Upper Brook St. and Brunswick Street just outside the centre. It isn't all you can eat but portions are generous and we never finish it all. Very popular despite its odd location above the Chinese supermarket.
earn what you can, save what you can, give what you can :hello:
  • Have been to a couple in Manchester centre,

Yum Yums is okay, we usually go there if we are going to the odeon cinema which is also in the Printworks,

But personally I prefer one called Buffet city in Manchester, it has a much bigger/better selection of food and all food is lovely.

Oh sorry, just re-read you want one "out of the centre"

I have also been to the one in Oldham, it was okay, but nothing special.

Can you tell that I love chinese food?? :o

actually all this talk has got me fancying a trip into manchester at the weekend.mmmm
