Barclays Contents Insurance

Dear Fellow Campaigners,
I just wanted to say thanks to this site for slashing my contents insurance from £108 to £64 a year with the same benefits, amount and no excess to pay.
Barclays quoted £96.84 a year for contents insurance ( up from £84 a year) plus they have now wanted a £1 a month charge to collect the direct debit.
You all may want to check your policies when they come through in case other banks and insurance companies charge a monthly collection fee for your insurances.

PS.. Marks & Spencer was the company I changed to. Which Surprised me that they did insurance.
