Overlimit implecations!!

Stupidly and inadvertently I went over my limit on my credit card. I was on a 34 month interest free card. I'm only 6 months into that period. I paid it off the overspend as soon as I realised together with the over limit fee. however I'm now being charged interest on the entire balance. Is there anyway to address this?

Many people report success with phoning up the credit card company, explaining and asking nicely for the offer to be reinstated.
  • Is it a purchase free card or balanced transfer card?

If it was a genuine mistake phone them and ask politely for them to re introduce your existing offer.
If they don't - accept you made a mistake and if your credit rating warrants it transfer it to a new card.
