Broadband Deal

My BT TV contract recently ended. BT called and asked me to renew it. The new contract is now as follows:

1) BT Line: £16.99 PCM - increase to £17.99 in September
2) BT Broadband Infinity 32MB: £23 PCM
3) BT TV and BT Sport: £5PCM

The total is £44.99 PCM. When they called the following happened:

1) BT TV was renewed for twelve months
2) BT Broadband was extended by six months (it originally expired in 02/16, now it expires in 08/16)

I have fourteen days to change my mind. I have found this which is offered to new customers: http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/products/affiliate-packages-broadband-next/index.html?aff=uswitch&packageId=AFF-UINF1-UWC-ENTPLU,AFF-UBB-UWC-STAC&s_cid=con_cic_aff_affwin_vidAJM_broadband&vendorid=AJM&utm_source=Affwin&utm_medium=Ref&utm_campaign=Affiliate&awc=3041_1440333938_b352424613be9a141f70c98e23d5e48f&dclid=CL2_rYaev8cCFaNy2wodiLgNAA

New customers seem to pay £17.50 PCM for new services for broadband and BT Sport, whereas I will pay £28 PCM. It seems like a bit of a rip off. Therefore I am thinking about BT TV, then cancelling everything after six months.

Are there any other BT customers out there renewing? Is my analysis correct?

    1) BT Line: £14.99 PCM
    >>> a lot cheaper than current but may be subject to a price increase next month .

    2) BT Broadband Infinity 32MB: £23 PCM

    >> Thats the standard rate .
    3) BT TV and BT Sport: £5PCM

    >>> Have a look at the BT TV with Sport zero pm .

Prices are always subject to whatever promotion is current .You can always leave and return later as a new customer though charges may apply .

Any cancellation will require the remaining months of the contract to be paid .

The line rental is £16.99 and will increase to £17.99 in September. I have updated the original post.
