Switching Gas & Elec On Prepay Meter

Hi, I'm with BG on a prepayment meter (card) for both gas and electric.
I'm wanting to switch supplier as I'm sure there must be cheaper tarrifs out there, but every 1 i've tried so far I get a msg saying they can't change me onto their tarrif as i'm prepay???
Have any of you managed to change supplier whilst on prepay?
Being able to switch through quidco would be nice too!
