this is reply i got from quidco
"I'm afraid that Scottish Power dropped their rate after exceeding their allotted quota for the higher rate of cashback. Apologies for this. Kind regards, Stuart"
i reapplied on monday, tracked as 55.00. anyone apply on same day and got different tracking amount?

I've emailed Quidco and asked them to make up the difference as the cashback was advertised as £60 when I clicked through and applied.
I probably would not have applied if the cashback had been lower as my potential savings with SP were not that significant on comparison with my current provider.
Whether I will get any joy from this who knows.0 -

you can cancel within 7 working days from the date of scottish power welcome letter so you still have time to cancel.

"Hi.
Just recently used the Energyhelpline website as recommended by Martin.
I am currently with EDF Energy and have been for just over a year now. I'm currently on the dual fuel standard tariff.
According to the energyhelpline I would be £102 better off each year if I swap now to Scottish Power and the Online Energy Saver 4 Tarrif.
Obviously, if this is true, then it doesn't take a genius to work out that a swap would probably be a good idea."0 -
Indeed it was, but I've since re-run the comparison as I was entering the incorrect tariff details from my current provider and my savings are not as much as the original estimate.
Yes, I have 7 days to cancel, but it makes sense to pursue what little savings I can make, and I guess I will have to accept the lower cashback rate if Quidco won't make up the difference.
The principle of the matter was that it was advertised as £60 and not £42, and it should really be honoured.
Oh, and in future, if you want to quote people, you can use the quote button, makes your post less confusing
