Admittedly the OP probably has taken reasonably steps here but the point stands, there are a few boxes that need to be ticked for a S75, it's not just a case of choosing that route0 -
Although that does only apply if you want to avoid court/litigation

S75 and S75A stand in parallel. S75A extends liability in the case of claims of more than £30K. Note:
S75A (6)This section does not apply where—(a)the cash value of the goods or service is £30, 000 or less,
s75A doesn't apply to S75 claims.0
