New replacement batteries for Laptops?

I need to by a new laptop battery for a Toshiba laptop - Satellite Pro A30.
Any ideas on the best places to shop? What's your experience of buying laptop spare parts.

What results did you get from Googling something like "Toshiba Satellite Pro A30 battery UK" ?

Or even "UK laptop batteries" to get the names of some shops/online stores which sell them?

ebay. I bought a new battery for an old Compaq M700. Its great. Estimated over 4 hours use now. The old one used to die after an hour. It was a company from Eire.

I did get stuffed on one laptop though. Bought it cheap and expected I could find a new battery. No chance, not even from HK/China etc.

The M700 I checked new ones were available before I bought it.

Yes have done this John.
Was staggered to find such a variation on prices and wondered if anyone has any good recommends because difficult to know who to trust. Currently having problems with a couple of companies regarding online purchases, seems like many aren't committed any type degree of customer service and satisfaction!
Know that people on here are generally very helpful and keen to help others avoid the pitfalls, especially the expensive stings.
