Vent (ish): Radio Advert for Boots Hearing Test

I don't know if this advert is only on here in Scotland, but it bugs me. It's the one where they sing the old rhyme "Heads, and shoulders, knees and toes".

Heads, and shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes,
Heads, and shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes,
Eyes and ............... and mouth and nose,
Heads, and shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes.

Obviously the missing word is Ears, but why do they make the gap too long? The gap they leave you can say Ears twice! Grr.
