I am looking to have some work done in my bathroom and kitchen as there is some dated set up and a potential leak.
I am looking to have the fuse board moved (currently under the sink) to a higher position. Quoted £400
Remove old bath (leaking behind it and bath is boxed in), fix leak and replace with new bath. Quoted £400 (not including materials)
There is a non-supporting wall [length of wall 2.5ft - height almost 8ft, approx 10 inches thick) which could be removed to open up the bathroom area and re-plaster. Quoted £800-£900
Do these quotes seem about right or not. I appreciate hard to tell with pics/specifics. Just ball-park I'm looking for.
Many thanks for any advice offered.

For quotes on building work I find the whatprice website the best. Lots of builders add the prices for similar jobs and you can average out the best price.
If you are on a budget make sure to plan out your renovations to the last detail as it's easy to allow costs to add up fast with a unexpected errors i.e. make sure your dimensions have been triple checked.0 -
where are you based?
For £550 I had a new fuse board supplied & installed, 3 bathroom spotlights removed and replaced with new ones (supplied), a switch lightswitch changed to pull cord, old cooker extractor fan removed, wiring for it moved to kitchen and new extractor fan installed (i bought it though). so £400 just to move the fuse board seems expensive!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0
