Where to buy decent curtain tracks

We need a couple of 8' curtain tracks so went straight to my local Wilkinson's, but they were out of stock.


A curtain shop nearby and a small hardware shop were also out of stock (wee of 8 foot ones at least)


I arrived home with said tracks, much to my wife's annoyance.


Had a quick look online at B & Q as well as Wickes, but both have very poor reviews with comments such as gliders stick, poor quality etc.


Where can I get decent tracks, or are those poles now the most common way to hang curtains.

Have you a John Lewis near you? Or order online we got ours from them, very good quality.

I had the same problem looking for curtain tracks.


Couldn't find any suitable in the local shops, b&q, homebase, dunelm etc so ended up having to order from ebay. Came within 2 days and they are good quality metal tracks that can be bent.


Swish corded track I believe they are called and they have pulleys either end so you don't have to rip the track off the wall when closing the curtains.

They glide nice and smoothly and come in lots of lengths.
