I am posting on behalf of my daughter she is a adult.
She bought a small item from a seller in beginning of June and for one reason or another she didn't chase it up for a while. Then the seller was away when she did so it was only recent that things moved on.
Anyway seller claims today after I was in touch with him via email last night all pleasant etc to him, that item was sent to a different postcode.
I am not sure if its just postcode wrong or the whole address. But we have never lived at that postcode and both paypal and ebay have the correct address as I have just checked
I am hoping he can replace or refund but cant raise a dispute with ebay now as its out of time I guess not that I want to if possible. So only paypal 90 days.
I prefer for seller to sort this out. is it possible for some reason he was sent wrong address from ebay or paypal?

Do you recognise the postcode? Has your daughter moved recently and failed to update her addresses on Ebay and Paypal?0

No she always lives at our address. We have never lived at that address nor has she. I have checked both profiles ebay and paypal and her details are correct. She has bought a far bit of stuff recently and no problems with delivery accept this one
The address is 3/4 of a mile away from us same town totally different postcode is the last 3 digits of that postcode
I have taken screenshots of her profile and sent links to seller as proof.
 Thanks0

Seller has just let me know he will take it up with ebay and sending new item I am just puzzled how he got the wrong details0

Which postcode is he checking? The one on the postage receipt which was manually input by a member of staff at the post office. It could be possible they put the wrong postcode on the receipt, but he could have sent the parcel to the correct address as listed on eBay / PayPal.0

No that cant be right if it was wrong postcode on receipt but sent to right address which he got from her account via paypal or ebay it would come here we would have got it.
Cant see how member of PO would put wrong postcode on the receipt, same town but different address, seller is in a different town tooBlueEyedGirl wrote: »Which postcode is he checking? A good result, hopefully.ColinFishwick wrote: »Seller has just let me know he will take it up with ebay and sending new item I am just puzzled how he got the wrong details
I would keep an eye on the cut off date for making a claim just in case they are spinning this out beyond the time limit.0
