Barclays ppi Address

Filled in questionnaire online for ppi claim with barclays, received letter saying cannot proceed as address does not match records and gives options to proceed. Called ppi helpline and went through security very difficult to remember all details as account was closed 7 years ago said i needed to go through higher security check with multiple choice questions after passing this details updated.Told would be completed by October, three days later receive same letter again so go through the same process again to be told the details are already updated but I need to go into local branch with id and whilst there ring them again to confirm the details are correct.

Does this sound right ?
